2010 model

Miss Courtney did me the honors of being my 2010 senior model. We had a fantastic session and stayed on time (a miracle for me. Everything about this went well, I couldn't be more happy and ready to use her images in my new advertising. Thank you Courtney for giving me your time.

Ashley

I hauled all my stuff to MN just for the opportunity to photograph my beautiful niece. So Ashley and I knocked out this session on a really HOT Minnesota evening. Her Dad washed the bike quickly so we could use it..how fun is that for a senior pic. Everyone who pitched in to help set up, clean the garage, etc, thank you, it was worth it!! I am super happy with the turn out and hope she will be too. Love you miss Ashley.

Happy birthday Joe

Little Joe has been coming to me since he was approx 7weeks old so to wrap up his first year was a great honor to me. We started out in the studio, were at one his mom and I did alot of chasing him around :) Then we went to the firestation (dads a fireman) and let him climb all over the truck. Oh my gosh he is so cute and looks so tiny on that firetruck.
Happy Birthday Joe, I hope you come back to see me soon.

John & Casey

It was a beautiful day to get married. John & Casey are such a wonderful couple with a wonderful group of family & friends. We worked at a furious pace for a couple of hours before the ceremony and it paid off. I loved doing this wedding, for the fact that family and friends seemed so important to them... thats the way I like to live.

A big thank you to my assistant Brittany and second photographer Kregg for a job well done.

Rewarding

Have you ever had someone thank you for something you had done YEARS ago? I just had that recent experience via the internet.
In my high school days of photography I had done engagement pictures for the friend of a friend. OK that was a many moons ago :) Apparently the young lady asked my friend if she was still in contact with me and told her to thank me.... OK for what you wonder. Her husband died some years ago from cancer and she still remembers me taking those pictures- because she loves them. WOW!!! I am floored and deeply touched that she remembers who did those. It reminds me of why photography is one of the most powerful gifts you can have.. it lasts forever and reminds us of times gone by and can evoke emotions that moves us deeply.
This my friends is why I do what I do.

Lilah & Zyda

OK- the plan was to have them both in angel wings together but as toddlers go.. we the adults did not get to win that battle.. this day anyway :)
For all the chasing and bribing going on, we did manage to get some really precious shots.

Brittany

Brittany was such a lovely girl to photograph. Not once did I get a bad expression.. ok we had allot of blinking going on but we worked around that. She chose to have her pictures at the White River Park and on Mass Ave- good choices for such a beautiful young lady.

Stacey- part 2

Poor Stacey it was 50 degrees and she was in short sleeves for most of the session freezeing. But I never heard one complaint- such a trooper and really fun gal to photograph. I really enjoyed working with Stacey and her mom, hopefully she will be as pleased with her images as I am.

Clare & Eric

We snuck in an engagement shoot over the weekend of my baby sister and her man. Isn't she beautiful.. I can not wait to do her wedding pictures.
