My buddy is 9 months old

He's back... yep my little buddy just turned 9 months old. So I went out and bought a cool new wagon, a little stepper and a big stuffed bear for the occasion. I'm glad I did- he is so adorable. Once I brought out the blocks, he decided it was "teething" time. I love this little man and his mom has big plans for his birthday shoot in a few months so stay tuned.

Timmy

This young man like most others- would not give up a smile. He has a beautiful smile but would not let me have it for pictures. We did a really cool shoot in his uncles garage with the car and then the whole family came to the studio a month later to finish up.

Baby brother

Oh my goodness what a few months makes in the comfort of a child. Big sister had her pictures taken before Christmas and was not really sure about the whole process. This time she was ready to roll, she even remember what button to push on my camera to make the lights flash- she loved it. Every time I put my camera down she was right there ready for "her turn" I think we have a little photographer in the making. Baby brother is 5 weeks old and just a peach.. ok his a gassy little man but none the less absolutely as perfects as a baby can be.

The face of an angel

This was my last shoot of 2008 and what an fantastic note to end on. I went to her house and set up in the living room but little miss was not really in the mood to have her pictures taken. We did not end up with a smile but I am in love with these and her. Take a moment and study her features.. to me they are beyond perfect. Both parents worked with me the whole time pulling out every "trick in the book" and in between some tears here are my favorites.

Brotzman family

Taking pictures of my friends give me great satisfaction. It usually is a little more relaxed - the kids aren't afraid or timid...if its a sunday I stay in my casual "dont' go out of the house clothes"....it's a beautiful thing. Thank you Brotzmans for allowing me to capture your beautiful family.

It was time for my favorite little mans, 6month shoot. He wasn't as smiley as last time but we still managed to get a few good ones. See you in 3 months little man :)

Sullivan family

I had the distinct honor of capturing this little girl when she was only a few weeks old-now look at how shes grown. She is so beautiful! This family is about to expand and I can't wait to see the new addition.. watch the blog I'm sure "it" will make an appearance.

Thanksgiving

The land of appointments is now quite until after the holidays. I am busy preparing orders that will be given as gifts. But look who came over for thanksgiving. This is all of the grandchildren on my husbands side of the family. It is not a fancy portrait but considering they gave me 15 minutes of there football/video game time it is worth taking. I did a really quick shoot with Lilly and she was in such good spirits-such a sweet baby.
