I've been a smidge behind in posting my latest seniors, so here you go.

Brittany & Jeremiah

This is my gorgeous assistant and her fiance. I had not met Jeremiah until this day and knowing the most men really do NOT want to have their pictures taken I might have been a smidge nervous. Despite all the wind & cold we had a great time. The moved and posed like no other couple I have ever worked with before- so comfortable in front of the camera, it was delightful! Big J did what ever I asked as long as not too much "pda" was involved :) ha ha ha So you will not see any smooching pictures from this session. I did tell him that he will have to give me a least a couple of those on the wedding day. This is a wonderful couple who compliment each other quite nicely. Enjoy the images!

Brandenburg maternity

What a great session! Laura allowed me to "practice" my technique for keeping momma comfortable during a nude maternity session. She said I did well :) We have decided not to post the nude pictures but instead give you these beautiful images to enjoy.
Documenting your pregnancy with a photo session is one of the best things you can do. We will not just take your every day static pictures.. Not here- your images will envoke the feelings of precious parenthood that you are about to embark on. Loving & soft images are a must. Being pregnant is probably the best feeling in the world. You are nuturing your soon to be child and the love that just flows from your body is incredible.

Thank you Laura & Tony for allowing me to capture this special time in your lives, I can not wait to see the little one.

Taylor

We had a wonderful day for a senior session. Taylors mom works at Simmons winery so we were given special permission to use the grounds.. free of charge!! thank you:)
Taylor was a great girl to work with, didn't mind any pose I suggested and was honest on her thoughts if I showed her some images ( I like that). We worked the winery, downtown and then the studio. Her mom was with us the whole time but did not watch a thing. Can you believe it? She wants to be surprised when the proofs come in.. that is the cutest! Here are a couple of my favorites.

Greg

Have you ever met a young person who seems so "together" that you are amazed? Greg is this type of fellow. He knows what he's interested in for the future, is super intelligent and a real gentleman. If we had more young men like this in the world what a wonderful place it would be :)

CEHS Marching Band 2010

I was once again blessed to photograph the Columbus East Marching Band. This year their theme is Carnival so they changed the color of their uniforms to pink- quite clever.


This is my beautiful daughter Hannah who is a senior this year so my marching band volunteer days are almost over. Just think of all the free time I will have :)

Happy Birthday Ryder

Happy Birthday Ryder! You have been an absolute joy to photograph over this past year. I feel like your parents are now my good friends. You have kept some of the same facial expressions that you made as a newborn, but the rest of you has grown into quite the "toddler". Now that you are on the move, you will keep your parents extremely busy. Be a good boy, stay adorable and come back to see me sometime.. how about lets get mom & dad in the next session with you :) Love you Ryder, from your favorite photographer jill

Trevor

Welcome little Trevor! This is Joe's little brother and it is amazing how much he looks like Joe. Trevor has a chubbier little face, but he is as inquisitive as Joe was/it. This little man was always staring so intensely it really made you wonder what was in that little head :) We wanted to do something with the firemans gear again so that the boys would have similar pictures.. I love the results. Thank you Mom & Dad for trusting me again with your most precious children.

Baby M was a premie, but you wouldn't know it looking at him in these 2week old pics. He is so adorable! We had a great time working together, I got lots of beautiful images and "snuggles".

Just do it!!

I did it!! what you might ask? I finally signed up to be a vendor at a bridal show... yikes Actually I was so thrilled with myself for doing it I had to text my assistant Brittany right away and tell her she now had to help me plan :) I think she was as excited as me... love that girls enthusiasm

I have always wanted to participate but just never pulled the trigger or had enough guts to put my stuff against "the others" So why did I do decide to do it.. I just figured that if I want to grow my company in a way that I enjoy and I DO enjoy weddings then lets spread the word to the good people of southern Indiana that Jill Linn Photography is the company to hire. The show is not unitl Jan 2011 so I now must not procrastinate and get plenty of samples and brochures handy. There is so many things to design, shoot and order my head just spins. So my friends say a prayer for me that my work will inspire many brides and my personality will "seal the deal".
